I was waiting for trips in International airport waiting spot. I was in the que for 1-10 cars. Suddenly I got the ping from nearby location, from another street I was waiting. I declined. Again after 1 min I got the ping from similar location. It happened again after 1 min and Uber put me offline. WTF. I need to stay in the que again.

Is someone playing the system?

Airport queue isn’t perfect.

Even if you’re in the queue, you can be given a trip from nearby. Probably from wealth distribution. If you get a ping, just take it. Airport pickups are very hit and miss.

Also the geo-fence doesn’t work very well…

Agreed, it sucks that when need to cancell at Domestic you have to wait in the Priority Pickup area for 5 min to get the cancellation fee to cover the Priority Pickup area fee.
They should give a new pickup to drivers who cancel in the pickup area.
But good thing is when you get back close to the cage you go to the front of the que.
At least that’s what happened to me last week when I cancelled because the 3.45 Star beitch dod not have a child seat for her 5yo.
She knew she was in the wrong anyway as as soon as I told her I could not transport them she walked back to the Qantas terminal and jumped in a taxi. She forgot she had active tracking on and because she did not want to cancel I could follow her right to Roby St before the 5 min wait was up.
